The 2025 undergraduate internship at the MSE was successfully completed

From September 4 to 17, undergraduates who entered the School of Materials Science and Engineering in 2025 visited nine companies as part of their industry orientation program. The visits were led by six faculty members: Shi Zhicheng, Xu Xiaofeng, Dong Bohua, Du Qing, Feng Huimeng and Zhu Yue. Students majoring in Materials Science and Engineering visited Qingdao Special Steel Co., Ltd., Qingdao Yunlu Advanced Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Hongda Forging and Pressing Machinery Co.,

Chen Shougang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Ocean University of China, and a member of the Communist Party of China. The School of Materials Science and Engineering held its 2026 Teachers’ Day celebration on September 9 in the Academic Lecture Hall, Room 102 of the Materials Building. An Autumn Welcome: School of Materials Science and Engineering Greets the Class of 2026

On August 30, the School of Materials Science and Engineering welcomed its incoming undergraduate students of the Class of 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their academic journeys. To ensure a smooth arrival, the School made preparations in advance. Each new student received a welcome package containing a School-branded T-shirt, a home–school contact card and a letter to parents.
