Gathering Brilliance in Mountains and Seas, Singing for the Journey Ahead. On May 29, the School of Materials Science and Engineering successfully held the 2025 Graduation Gala in the Sixth Conference Room of the Academic Complex.
In her opening speech, Du Junhua, Party Secretary of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, congratulated all graduates on completing their studies and embarking on new journeys. She reminisced about the pivotal moments and unforgettable memories of their college years and shared two heartfelt expectations: first, to be dream chasers who aim high and stand firm—exploring uncharted territories in science and technology, addressing critical national challenges, and aligning personal growth with the nation's destiny to contribute to societal progress and prosperity. Second, to be steadfast achievers who persevere through continuous learning and hard work, excelling in ordinary endeavors to become indispensable talents. She encouraged students to remain true to their original aspirations, embrace diversity, and spread warmth, inviting them to revisit their alma mater often.
