To promote industry-university-research collaboration and explore win-win partnerships, a delegation led by Pan Chuncheng, Assistant to the General Manager, and Tong Jun, Director of Human Resources and Enterprise Management from Taishan Glass Fiber Co., Ltd., visited the School of Materials Science and Engineering on March 20 to discuss industry-university cooperation initiatives. The meeting was attended by Du Junhua, Secretary of the School’s Party Committee, and Zhang Yue, Associate Dean.
Du Junhua extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed gratitude for the company’s long-term support in student internships. She briefed the guests on the school’s development and emphasized the desire to strengthen cooperation in talent cultivation, graduate employment, and technological innovation through this exchange.
Pan Chuncheng outlined the company’s development history and product advantages, highlighting its expertise in glass fiber manufacturing. He proposed collaborations in joint project applications, solving enterprise technical challenges, talent recruitment, and establishing joint laboratories to deepen industry-university-research integration.
The symposium broadened the scope and depth of cooperation, laying a solid foundation for identifying new integration points and innovation opportunities. This alignment aims to achieve dual benefits: enhancing high-quality graduate employment and assisting employers in talent acquisition.
