On December 5, the vice president of Thailand Agricultural University Chatchapon Chungchoo and 10 people visited the College of Materials Science and Engineering, and carried out in-depth academic exchanges with the faculty representatives of the College of Materials Science and Engineering in the conference room 211 of the Materials building to jointly explore the content and form of future cooperation in teaching and scientific research between the two sides.
At the exchange meeting, Professor Liu Wei, deputy dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, first expressed a warm welcome to the Thai Agricultural University on behalf of the school, and introduced the basic overview of the school, training mode, scientific research content and international cooperation. Chatchapon Chungchoo, Vice President of Thai Agricultural University, on behalf of the Thai side, introduced the basic overview, graduate training and scientific research progress of Thai Agricultural University, and expressed the intention to cooperate with our institute in scientific research and talent training in the field of materials. Teachers Wang Wei and Cui Zhongyu of the College respectively introduced in detail the research characteristics and achievements of our college in the fields of Marine antifouling coating and metal corrosion and prevention. Professor Sathaporn Chuepeng, Dean of Engineering at Thai Agricultural University, and Professor Sureerat Polsilapa, Department of Engineering Materials, respectively introduced the research direction and research progress of Thai Agricultural University in the field of materials and engineering.
After the meeting, Vice President Liu Wei led Vice President Chatchapon Chungchoo and his delegation to visit the energy materials Laboratory and the Metal Corrosion and Protection Laboratory of our Institute, and took a group photo.
