On July23, Zhang Xiaoquan, Chairman of Wocam (Shandong) Vacuum Glass Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wocam Technology) and Executive President of the Jinan Alumni Association of Ocean University of China, visited the School of Materials Science and Engineering for research. Both parties jointly promoted the research and development of building energy-saving technologies and the transformation of achievements Alumni liaison and joint constructionwere conducted. Du Junhua, Party Secretary of the college, participated in the research.
Du Junhua welcomed Zhang Xiaoquan and his delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the college's development history, discipline layout, faculty strength, research features, andrelatedachievements. She stated that the college always focuses on national strategies and major needs of the new materials industry, is committed to high-level scientific research and cultivating innovative talent, and looks forward to deepening cooperation with WocamTechnologyand steadily advancing university-enterprise joint development.
Zhang Xiaoquan briefly introduced the development history and company profile of Wocam Technology, and exchanged updates on the progress of alumni liaison efforts. He stated that Wocam Technology attaches great importance to industry-university-research cooperation with Ocean University of China. Building curtain wall energy-saving technology has outstanding strategic value and broad market potential. It is hoped that by jointly developing building energy-saving technologies, closely aligning with frontline industrial needs, accelerating the implementation and transformation of basic scientific research achievements, and continuously expanding and deepening comprehensive school-enterprise cooperation.
The two sidesengaged in exchanges on cutting-edge technologies and application fields such as electrochromic curtain walls, architectural photovoltaics, and transparent photovoltaics. Both sides stated that they will build consensus and pool their strength, treating the development of building energy-saving technologies as an important task, and making greater contributions to serving the national dual carbon strategy and local economic and social development.
