A few days ago, the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Ocean University of China received the students of the China-Spain Engineering Competence Seminar hosted by the Chinese Engineers Consortium and undertaken by the Shandong Big Data Research Association, the China Dam Engineering Society, and the Shandong Young Scientists Association, and more than 40 young engineers from Spain and the domestic marine field visited. The key research directions and representative research results of the college are introduced.

This exchange activity successfully opened a new window for dialogue between Chinese and foreign young engineers. The college will continue to promote the construction of a normalized and high-level international scientific research cooperation network, carry out joint research in cutting-edge fields such as marine and new energy materials, and strive to produce a number of landmark achievements with international influence, injecting new momentum into the development of disciplines and global scientific and technological progress.
