School of Materials Science and Engineering Conducts Research Visit to Universities and Enterprises in Fujian

To facilitate the high-quality development of the college's 16th Five-Year Plan and further expand employment channels, a delegation from the College of Materials Science and Engineering, led by Party Secretary Du Junhua and Dean Cui Hongzhi, conducted a research visit to universities and enterprises in Fujian from September 15th to 17th.

  At the School of Materials of Xiamen University and the College of Materials Science and Engineering of Fuzhou University, both sides introduced their respective institutional histories, faculty profiles, scientific research endeavors, and talent cultivation practices. They also engaged in discussions on disciplinary development, internationalization, laboratory management, and deepening collaboration. The delegation visited teaching and research laboratories during their tours.

  At Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and Xiamen Tungsten New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., the two sides held discussions on technological collaboration, joint talent cultivation, internship and training programs, industry-education integration, and graduate recruitment. The delegation also toured corporate exhibition halls, R&D centers, and production facilities.

Research visit to Xiamen Tungsten New Energy Materials Co., Ltd.

 

  This research visit served as a key component in the college's efforts to strategically plan its 16th Five-Year Plan and an important initiative to implement the Ministry of Education's special campaign of visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities. The delegation also included Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean Hu Shuangshuang, Vice Dean Liu Shuang, along with department heads, counselors, and student representatives.
