On November 1, 2024, Professor Max Hamedi and Professor Anna Herland from KTH Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden were invited to visit the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Ocean University of China. Cui Hongzhi, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, attended the exchange meeting, and the two sides exchanged views on discipline construction, scientific research cooperation, and personnel training, and looked forward to further deepening cooperation through this exchange.

During the presentation session, Professor Max Hamedi gave a presentation on the topic lontronics for Neuromorphic Computers, and Soft Robots. The self-assembly of 2D / 1D nanocellulose composites and their application as mixed ion electronic conductors are introduced. Professor Anna Herland gave a talk on New strategies for electrochemical transistor materials, patterning, sensing and in vitro models. The structure of organic electrochemical crystals, channel materials and their applications in biological information sensing are described.

In the discussion and laboratory communication, the teachers and students exchanged and discussed the modified application of two-dimensional materials, the preparation and application of organic electrochemical transistor devices, and so on. The atmosphere was warm.
The two presentations were the 152nd and 153rd lectures of Ocean University of China's Overseas Famous Teachers Lecture Hall, and faculty and student representatives from relevant research directions of the college attended the exchange and presentation.
